Dear Friend,

I, like the Apostle Paul, thank my God upon every remembrance of each of you.  I can hardly believe that it's been ten years ago that I began to work toward the fulfillment of God's vision for this ministry.  Never would I have imagined that He would have given me so many friends to work along side me to complete the work that He began.  I definitely am not saying that we have completed the work of ministry, but I know that the first ten years have been to lay the foundation for the even greater work that is yet to take place.  I'm excited as we embark upon the upcoming season of ministry. 

We believe that in our first years of ministry God has blessed us to Friend Raise.  Of course we knew that we needed funds to operate but God never let us stay focused on what we needed but He constantly reminded us of the needs of those that He called us to minister to.  We learned first hand that where God guides, He provides.  He truly has been our Jehovah Jireh, as He has provided for our every endeavor, and He has always done so by touching the hearts of you our Friends! 

If you have traveled or donated toward a mission trip, or on a regular basis toward our general operating budget, supported us in prayer, attended any of our singles, women, or youth meetings, or maybe you've just been there to support this vision with words of encouragement, we are indebted to you.  We realize that whatever part you've played, we would not be celebrating ten years without you. 

 As the founder of In The Spirit Ministries, Inc., and as a minister of the gospel I want to thank God for the opportunity to help people to come to experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and His promises of abundant life.

To my immediate and extended family, thank you for putting up with my not so normal life, but most importantly thank you for allowing me to be me!

Mission Update

Thank you to all those who donated and prayed for the China outreach which took place with Revival Fires Ministries, of Branson, Mo.  Even though, I chose not to travel with many who feared the SARS symptoms were prayed for.  Reportedly 3000 bibles were distributed; your donations helped make this a reality. 

I will be traveling to China September 8-18, 2003 with the next team.  Please remember us in your prayers and hopefully the SARS situation will remain stable as it is currently being reported.  If you are still interested in donating toward the trip or bible distribution you may do so until August 15, 2003.
